Can I create an XRechnung or ZUGFeRD invoice with Hilea Rechnung?
Yes. The app creates ZUGFeRD (PDF with embedded data, EN 16931 profile) and XRechnung (XML), for authorities with a Leitweg-ID. Sample e-invoices of all invoice types were formally checked with the KoSIT validator and Mustang (as of October 26, 2026). This is not tax advice.
Can I write a progress invoice with the app?
Yes. With one tap the quote becomes a progress invoice, for example for 30%, and at the end the final invoice, with each progress payment deducted separately.
Does Hilea Rechnung work without internet?
Yes. You can write invoices offline; only purchases and the subscription check need internet. There is no account; company details, customers and invoices are stored on your device. Finalized invoices cannot be deleted, so make backups regularly.
Which devices does Hilea Rechnung run on?
At launch on iPhone, iPad and Mac with Apple silicon, and on Android devices via Google Play. The app works in German and English; quotes, invoices and e-invoices are written in German.
